Claudia’s home had rotted wood due to improperly installed gutters. We replaced these gutters. Claudia says “Gutter Glove of NC fixed a mess caused by a different company years earlier.”
She goes on to say: “Our house has LOTS of gutters. Gutter Glove’s cost was about half that of another company’s bid. The product itself is very high quality. After almost 7 years, there’s no evidence of deterioration. The installation is very secure – even the squirrels have not succeeded in damaging it! The guys who did the work showed up when they said they would, were professional and answered all questions we had while they were working. They had what I think was a pretty complicated job working around trees without damaging anything and working at multiple levels on the 2-story house. The product (the gutter guards they installed) performance is excellent and resolved many issues we were having with gutters and downspouts becoming clogged and with water running off the roof onto parts of the house and deck. We were and still are very pleased with our decision to purchase the Gutter Glove guards and installation.”
As you can see, there are more to gutters than just slapping them onto the side of your home and being done with them. Improper drainage can cause water damage. In this case the homeowner ended up needing some new materials such as wood and replacement gutters, however, we’ve seen cases where foundation damage and attic mold have been an issue.
