Here’s a summer home improvement idea: Painting!

It’s unbelievable what a can of paint can do to a living space.

With total imagination and some real creativity, you can completely redesign a room with a paint color or two. Consider taping your walls for a striped effect. Paint a room in one color but in different hues for added interest. Consider painting wood cabinets for a newer, more modern look. Remember that darker shades will make your space appear to be smaller while lighter shades will make spaces appear to be larger.
